1. What cookies are
Small text files a site stores on your device. We also use a related technology, local storage, for one preference. On this page "cookies" covers both.
2. What we use
- Consent preference (local storage, key: wingjoint-consent). Remembers whether you accepted or declined cookies so the banner stays away. Kept up to 12 months, holds no personal data.
- Strictly necessary cookies. If we ever need something to keep the site running (load balancing, security), EU rules don't require consent — and we'll list it here if that day comes.
3. What we deliberately don't use
No ad trackers. No social media pixels. No cross-site stalking. If that ever changes, this page updates first and the consent banner will pop back up so you can decide again.
4. Changing your mind
To wipe the stored preference and get asked again:
- Chrome / Edge: Settings → Privacy and security → Site settings → Cookies and site data → find this site → delete.
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data → Manage Data → remove this site.
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data → remove this site.
The banner will return on your next visit so you can pick again — like a regular who changed their usual order.
5. Questions
Anything unclear? Email [email protected]. We'd rather explain it in plain words than hide behind legal seasoning.
