We keep very little data about you. Messages you send us are used to reply, then deleted once the conversation is done. We don't sell or trade personal information — that business model smells worse than day-old fry oil. The rest of this page covers the details.

3. What we collect and why
- Contact form messages. Name, email, topic and your message. Used only to answer you. Kept for up to 12 months after our last exchange, then deleted.
- Cookie consent preference. Stored in your browser so the banner stays gone. Contains no personal data.
- Anonymous usage stats. If you accept cookies, we may look at anonymized page views to learn which recipes get cooked most. It never identifies you.
4. Legal basis
Answering your messages: legitimate interest (you wrote to us, we answer — fair deal). Optional statistics: your consent, which you can withdraw anytime by clearing your browser storage.
5. Sharing
We don't share your personal data with anyone except where the law compels us. Our hosting providers act as processors under data-processing agreements.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask us to:
- show you what personal data we hold about you;
- correct or delete it;
- restrict or object to certain processing;
- complain to your local data protection authority.
